Saturday Night, 1:23 a.m.

Ok,

so,

Richard Feaster and I did some recording at the world famous Castle recording studios in Franklin (south of Nashville) on Thursday night. We did only one or two takes per song. I was pretty prepared and I don't like to spend a whole lot of time doing take after take. I prefer idiosyncratic, spontaneous performances (they are) to perfect ones (they're not :) ). The demo's that follow will be available soon on the jukebox.

In the meantime stream them here directly:
See About You (See About Me)
The First to Know
The Night Comes
Blue Turns Black
Paradise
Dream in the Doorway

Love,
Joe

Joe -- the demos sound really good. I like the new arrangement of See About You (See About Me) a lot. Better than the slower version, definitely. Paradise still knocks me flat on my ass. Just gets me where it counts, you know? Love it.
