We are the champions, my friends...

Ok, well, maybe not the CHAMPIONS,

However, "Uncovered Wagon: True Life on the Trail," won 2 awards last night:
Best in Genre (Mockumentary)
Best Acting by an Ensemble

2 years ago, our film "Super" was a runner-up in the Superhero genre and we won Best Acting by an Ensemble that year as well.

Understand, this means that both times we have made these films our cast has literally wiped the floor with over 40 films - many of which are cast with experienced and professional actors - 2 times in a row. That's over 90 films that have been smashed to bits beneath our thespianic fury!

If you didn't go to the 48 fest this year you missed out on a lot of creative movie making. Some of the best were: Let Freedom Ring, Golden Egg and Good Cop Bad Cop.

Our 48 hour film "Uncovered Wagon: True Life on the Trail," is now posted on YOU TUBE. Please check it our here.

Be humble in your sleepy hands on this world.
Be a killer in Heaven.

Love, Joe Nolan

I really enjoyed "Uncovered Wagon". The writing was very impressive, especially for this kind of competition. I have participated in a few of these 24/48 hour film contests, and I work for the venue that hosted the screening and awards ceremony for the Colorado branch of this year’s competition.

Most of the time the writing for this kind of thing is a string of bad gags held together by implausible dialogue, spiced up with poorly executed and unnecessarily flashy camerawork.

This was refreshing. The writing had enough naturalism to feel sincere and organic, and enough parody to make the piece witty. The camera work was elegant and effective, and did not distract form the content. Very well done.

I especially enjoyed the monologue about the hatchet.

You're a good actor, Joe.
