The People of the Sun at the Fin de Siecle

21 May 2004

Thanks for stopping. I hope you are enjoying the blog and that you stay in touch with us.

Here we are!

It's late and quiet and a good friend of mine called me tonight to announce the birth of his daughter; his first child.

I am thinking about babies crying like the sound of the ocean.

Capitalism excuses war as an inevitability (as war surely is in it's truest forms). War feeds on it's own dead and sustains itself, on itself, for the sake of it's self-same survival; much like that pure predator the great white shark. Ultimately the so-called "moral high ground" in a conflict gives way to the forces of greed and power that are always to be found in the true heart of war. War leads to war for the sake of itself; justice, morality and patriotism be damned.

There is no question that this is the end of an era; a period; an age. I truly feel that the bleakness in these times (in all it's various forms and personages) is the pall of a dying culture; it's brassy complexion of indulgence, indolence, ignorance and shame-facedness in the sight of it's own whoary visage.

This American culture of sexual repression, religious masochism and criminal exploitation is on the way out for good and with it the rapacious fantasy of global government based on economic exploitation.

Only the people, of their own volition, of their own accord, can look up from their toil and see the promise of the new Sun that dawns now in the Seven Heights that fly above this living America.

Only the humble look down and only they can look up. Be humble in your sleepy hands on this world.

Be a Killer in Heaven.

Bring 'em home.

All power to the people.
