Memento Mori

Hey there.

Welcome back!

Here we go!

On this Holiday Weekend let us stop and remember some of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the people of America and the world:

Fred Hampton
Malcolm X
Wilhelm Reich
The Branch Davidians
The Victims at Ruby Ridge
Jack Parsons
Jose Gutierrez

The Right/Left paradigm of American (World?) politics is a control mechanism that is used to frame the limits of a given issue in order to keep a stranglehold on the possible outcomes.

Bush will keep troops in Iraq as per a blueprint that has been in place since before his election and the events of September 11, 2001.

Kerry will also keep troops in Iraq, but may woo more international support from the blue helmeted wolves of the UN; the kinder, gentler machine-gun hand.

Neither advocates an end to imperial interference with the sovereign people and natural resources of Iraq.

Only the humble look past the mask of tyranny and see the twin faces of justice and human liberty.

Be humble in your sleepy hands on this world.

Be a Killer in Heaven.

Bring 'em home.

All power to the people.

The Traditional Hour of Prayer

Thanks for stopping. I hope you are enjoying yourself

Here we go!

It's late (again) and quiet and I should go to bed now.

I am thinking about dead soldiers in distant deserts and a dream I dreamed of Paradise.

I am thinking about sudden climate change and the mathematics of love.

I am thinking about Fulcanelli and the cruci-fiction.

Is there no limit to the appetite when it comes to heresy and violence?

I have one tattoo, two broken bones, perfect vision and an understanding with the hawks in Joshua Tree.

Only the humble truly labor and only they find true ease.

Be humble in your sleepy hands on this world.

Be a killer in Heaven.

Bring 'em home.

All power to the people.

The People of the Sun at the Fin de Siecle

21 May 2004

Thanks for stopping. I hope you are enjoying the blog and that you stay in touch with us.

Here we are!

It's late and quiet and a good friend of mine called me tonight to announce the birth of his daughter; his first child.

I am thinking about babies crying like the sound of the ocean.

Capitalism excuses war as an inevitability (as war surely is in it's truest forms). War feeds on it's own dead and sustains itself, on itself, for the sake of it's self-same survival; much like that pure predator the great white shark. Ultimately the so-called "moral high ground" in a conflict gives way to the forces of greed and power that are always to be found in the true heart of war. War leads to war for the sake of itself; justice, morality and patriotism be damned.

There is no question that this is the end of an era; a period; an age. I truly feel that the bleakness in these times (in all it's various forms and personages) is the pall of a dying culture; it's brassy complexion of indulgence, indolence, ignorance and shame-facedness in the sight of it's own whoary visage.

This American culture of sexual repression, religious masochism and criminal exploitation is on the way out for good and with it the rapacious fantasy of global government based on economic exploitation.

Only the people, of their own volition, of their own accord, can look up from their toil and see the promise of the new Sun that dawns now in the Seven Heights that fly above this living America.

Only the humble look down and only they can look up. Be humble in your sleepy hands on this world.

Be a Killer in Heaven.

Bring 'em home.

All power to the people.

The New Blog

18 May 2004

Thanks for stopping at my blog, especially if you have been waiting for the latest update.

Here it is!

It's Aliiiive!!! Aliiiiive!!!

I am writing at midnight listening to news from Abu Ghraib, as if any of this is a surprise. Wasn't America born of a Genocide and suckled on Slavery? Hasn't our military exported torture around the globe for decades? Isn't our own domestic prison system constantly being criticized for it's cruel treatment of it's prisoners?

To err is human. To delude ourselves with star-spangled lies and cruel christian hypocrisy is inexcusable.

Bring 'em home.

All power to the people.
